Established in 1986 by founder Dave Doll, Double D Excavating started with two part-time employees and has since grown to 150 dedicated full-time workers. Our first projects included residential grading and retaining walls but we were always quick to take on new challenges, never turning down a new opportunity for growth. When we expanded our work in commercial construction in 1998, we hit the ground running and never looked back.

This decision led to immense business growth in 2000 and 2001, where we more than doubled our annual revenues. Double D Excavating has been flourishing ever since, and we have steadily added new service lines to better assist our clients. In fact, we’ve gained a reputation for never turning business away, regardless of the task at hand.

Throughout the years, we have become very familiar with schools, hospitals, healthcare facilities, and banks, all of which require efficient, reliable services. The majority of our projects fall in the quarter million to half million dollar range, but we can handle projects of all sizes, from small scale to large.

The major contributors to our success have been our long-term employees, many of whom have been with us for over 12 years, and our valued clientele, with whom we have also built mutually-beneficial, continuing relationships that have helped us grow and stay established.
